Konex Awards Book 1980-2007
Konex Foundation has decided to edit “Konex Awards Book 1980-2007”. The above mentioned book comprehend a list of 2800 nominees and 560 members of the jury throughout 28 years of the awards existence. The edition is bilingual (Spanish-English) and colourful. It's contain 488 pages in an important format (34 x 25cm.); with strong covers in gold color. 5.500 issues had edited in a luxurious production. Every year of awards is include a prologue written by the President of the Grand Jury or a member of it.
The book was presented on October 15º in a special ceremony in which both nominees and members of the jury had being attended. Such event took place at the main hall of the Faculty of Law of the University of Buenos Aires.
Contents
The information related to every year of awards shall be developed in a minimum of 8 pages distributed in the follolwing way: the first page will contain a prologue written by the President of the Grand Jury or by a jury of the respective year; the second page will be aimed at the Diamond Konex and its biography; the third one will have the list of the Grand Jury; the fourth will include the photographs of the Konex nominees, the Honour Konex and the list of Special Mentions; the fifth will have the list of Platinum Konex; the sixth will contain its photos; the seventh will contain the list of Merit Diplomas and the eighth, the photograph of the 20 quintets who have been granted the award. Besides, the 12 Mercosur Konex Awards just given will be granted together with the 2 Condecorations granted to Yehudi Menuhin and Mstislav Rostropovich with their respective biographies.
Last but not least, there will be an alphabetical index of all the nominees and jurors with all the specifications related to the year they are involved in and their reference already granted to their specific place in the book.
The design of this issue is in charge of Shakespear Studio and Wechsler Design.
It will be a permanent book of consultancy as it contains the names of the most prestigious personalities in Argentina. The Fact of editing it in Spanish and English will allow its circulation in other countries.

Prologues
As it has been pointed above, every year will be started by a prologue of a personality related to Konex awards, who shall offer a special testimony of what has happened in that opportunity. 1980, 1981 and 1982 prologues have been extracted by the “Golden Book of Argentine Sport”, the “Golden Book of Argentine Entertainment” and the “Golden Book of Argentine Visual Arts”, edited respectively by Konex Foundation in those years.
